Sea Monkeys c. 1960s comic book illustration
Sea Monkeys were invented by
Harold von Braunhut in collaboration
with marine biologist Dr. Anthony D’Agostino in 1957 and originally called “Instant Life “ and sold for only 49 cents. Braunhut changed the name to “Sea-Monkeys” in 1962.
using illustrations by the comic-book illustrator Joe Orlando, sea monkeys were marketed in comic books throughout the sixties and the seventies.

Dickie Dale
(25 de abril de 1927 – 30 de abril de 1961) fue un piloto de motociclismo de GP nacido en Wyberton, cerca de Boston, Lincolnshire, Inglaterra. gano la NW200 y lo catapultó al mundial donde estuvo desde su inicio (1949) sus mejores años fuero 1955/56 donde terminó subcampeón detras de su compañero en Moto-Guzzi Bill Lomas.
Dale también compitió en la clase de 500 cc a bordo de la famosa GuzziV8 Grand Prix de Moto Guzzi. …estaba llamado a grandes gestas en el mundial, pero murió de camino al hospital en un helicóptero sin presión arterial después de un accidente durante la carrera Eifelrennen de 1961 en Nürburgring Alemania.
